APRIL 1 – 6 : Featuring poetry by dozens of famous (and not so famous) poets. Books and pamphlets 50¢ to $4. We’ll also have FREE poetry leaflets. Poetry expands the mind, come in and fill up.
APRIL 8 – 13 : DVDs – lots of them. $1.
APRIL 15 – 19 : Quirky books (fascinating books you didn’t realize you wanted to read). Take a chance!
APRIL 22 – 27 : Books for kids. Sets and series, graphic novels and more. 50¢ per item.

This month we will feature Crafts and Gardening books. Isn’t Spring a good time to start a project and get seeds in the ground? Get inspiration and how-to information here. Our books are probably the smallest investment that you’ll make. Get productive and most of all — Have Fun!
As always, prices are amazingly reasonable.
The Friends Channing Way Bookstore is located at 2433 Channing on the ground floor of the Telegraph-Channing garage. Park in the parking structure: first hour free!, or, use one of the pedestrian entrances on Channing Way or Durant Avenue (note: the latter is not wheelchair accessible). The Central Library Bookstore is on the first floor of the Central Library.
Our “Free Books” carts are stocked daily with books that we cannot sell, but are free for you to take and enjoy, or to refill your Little Free Library! The carts are currently available during all open hours and are located outside the store by the front entrance.
