Berkeley Library Friends

The Friends of the Berkeley Public Library is a 501(c)(3) California nonprofit whose purpose is to support and expand the educational, cultural, and outreach programs of the Library.

What the Friends Do

Money Raised by the Friends helps pay for many of the events at the Berkeley Public Library.

Children’s programming in the libraries, including the Summer Reading Program, puppet shows, craft programs, storytellers, and more.

Annual Book Sale & More Events

Plan to attend the Friends' Annual Book Sale on June 13th & 14th, 2015, at the Berkeley Public Library, 2090 Kittredge St., Berkeley CA.

Join the Friends at the Bay Area Book Festival on June 6th & 7th, 2015. The Friends will have a booth at the Kittredge St. entrance to the Library.
